Some ports are i/p or o/p only so D option is correct.

I think the question is itself incomplete as if in VHDL language we can have ports as i/p alone, o/p alone as well as bidirectional. So I think option d is correct.

I hope C is the correct answers.

Serial Port, Parallel Port, USB Port ... are bidirectional.
Video port (it may seem like uni-directional but not actually).

Assume a situation a port used to send the data only to target device, it should have facility at-least to receive the status message from the target device.

Therefore, all ports are bi-directional.

Some ports are dedicated for i/p or o/p alone also.

So I think option D is correct. . . . Can anyone justify the given ans i.e, option C is the correct one ?
