I think the question is itself incomplete as if in VHDL language we can have ports as i/p alone, o/p alone as well as bidirectional. So I think option d is correct.

Serial Port, Parallel Port, USB Port ... are bidirectional.
Video port (it may seem like uni-directional but not actually).

Assume a situation a port used to send the data only to target device, it should have facility at-least to receive the status message from the target device.

Therefore, all ports are bi-directional.
