The Analog output doesn't increases with increase in Digital input, this is called Non-monotonic error.

Whenever there is no increase in analog output with the increase in digital input it is called as "non-monotonic error".

When no signal is given to the input and still there is some amount of digital output appears at the output of DAC is called as "offset Error".

A DAC is monotonic if the analog output always increases as the DAC-code input increases.

Sometimes Analog output doesn't increases with increase in Digital input, this is called Non-monotonic error.

Nonmonotonic error means. ?

Even no input given to a converter produces some smaller output called offset error.
