Best appropriate way to identify APF is, if the poles and zeros are a mirror image of each other then the system will be APF.

For LPF = both zeros poles be at -1

For HPF = both zeros should be at 1

For Band pass filter = one zero at 1 other at -1

For band reject = both zeros at the same angle as poles.

And for all pass = same no of zeros and poles at both sides.
