Fundamental time period = (2*pi)/w.
= (2*pi)/(pi/4).
= 8 sec.
= (2*pi)/(pi/4).
= 8 sec.

2*pi/T = pi/4.
So T = 8.
So T = 8.

2*pi*f = pi/4
=> f = 1/8.
=> f = 1/8.
