1 single coil energy 0.45j/2=0.225j.
So answer is B.

Guys, it's a couple of coils connected in series... that means a couple of resistors with a couple of inductors.
So the energy stored in the magnetic field must be less than 0.45 joules.
So the answer is 0.225 joule.
