If input energy is E.
Then;
Input energy (E) - 25/100 of energy loss= 2kw.
E(1-0.25) = 2kw.
E = 2/0.75 =2.67kw.
Then;
Input energy (E) - 25/100 of energy loss= 2kw.
E(1-0.25) = 2kw.
E = 2/0.75 =2.67kw.

100-25 = 75.
75/100 = 0.75.
75/100 = 0.75.

Let total energy is x.
According to the question,
X - 20x/100 = 4kwh.
X-x/5 = 4,
5x-x/5 = 4,
4x = 20,
X = 5kwh.
Am I correct?

Let total applied energy is x.
Then,
x = 2k + 25% of x.
By solving x = 2.67.
Then,
x = 2k + 25% of x.
By solving x = 2.67.
