Fermi level of n-type semiconductor is above the valence band if you increase acceptor ions fermi level with is increased that's why Fermil level was close to the valence band.

The question asks the Fermi level LIKELY TO BE(most possible answer).
So even if the acceptor atoms concentration is increased and it reaches 0.1EV, it must first reach 0.28eV.
So if the concentration is increased, then Fermi level will reach 0.28eV and is the most possible answer.
So even if the acceptor atoms concentration is increased and it reaches 0.1EV, it must first reach 0.28eV.
So if the concentration is increased, then Fermi level will reach 0.28eV and is the most possible answer.

If less amount of p-type material is added then Fermi level will slightly move towards valence band(.3eV to .28eV).
If more amount of p-type material is added then Fermi level will move even closer to valence band (.3eV to .1eV).
If further doping is increased then Fermi level enters valence band (below valence band)
So how can we say that .28eV is correct?

See where will be the position of the Fermi level after increasing doping we can't say exactly but as much as we dopped the Fermi level will be more near to valence band, if we still increase the impurity up to significant level there will be a time when the Fermi level starts entering the valence band (known as degenerated semiconductor, used in tunnel diode).

Please anyone can give an exact solution.

But it can be 0.1 eV also.
Exact 0.28eV can't be calculated. Then how this answer comes?

Fermi level is the top of all energy states up to which electrons are filled.

Ef - Ep = 0.3.
When the concentration of acceptor atoms increases then Ef - Ep becomes less (nearer to valence band).

Can any body define fermi level?

According to you the Fermi level should be closer to the valence band but how 0.28 is closer than 0.1 level.
