Formula is :
V(dc) = Vm - (4.17*I(dc)/C), I(dc) in mA and C in uF.
V(dc) = Vm - (4.17*40/75).
V(dc) = 37.78 V.
V(dc) = Vm - (4.17*I(dc)/C), I(dc) in mA and C in uF.
V(dc) = Vm - (4.17*40/75).
V(dc) = 37.78 V.

We know that,
Vdc = Vmax - Idc/4fc.
= 40- (40*10^-3)/(4*(50hz)*75*10^-6).
= 40-2.666,
= 37.33 V.
Vdc = Vmax - Idc/4fc.
= 40- (40*10^-3)/(4*(50hz)*75*10^-6).
= 40-2.666,
= 37.33 V.

This can be solved by:
40 - Ripple voltage.
Ripple voltage = I/240 * sqrt 3 * C.
40 - Ripple voltage.
Ripple voltage = I/240 * sqrt 3 * C.
