Diode is a forward bias.

If there is a high resistance alternately there will be low conductance. According, to the drift velocity the flow of charges will be leads to electrical conduction so there be low resistance. So at the high resistance time internally diode is short.

If it is open than it has high are.
If it is shorted yo earth than it has some are.
Si diode has are so it is not correct diode or ideal.
Hence it is shorted internaly.

If diode is not ideal then it has small resistance in both forward and reverse bias when it is internally shorted. But, ideally the diode has zero resistance.

If the diode is internally short then ideally it should sow Zero resistance in both forward and reverse bias. As no material can be ideal and it is a semiconductor so it is showing very less resistance.

In case if it is short circuited it would have zero resistance. But ideally diode has zero resistance.

Usually we can have low resistance when the circuit is shorted. This is the reason why the answer is C for above question.

This is the short circuit. This is zero Resistance.

If diode is internally short then it should offer zero resistance ideally but practically it is not possible because of environmental conditions like temperature and more.
