In forward biased, diode is short circuit.

The answer is diode is internally short. So it behave like a conductor so it shows low resistance value.

If internally short, how its show resistance becoz, incondition of short, the resistance should zero.

It is not exactly short in forward bias it offers very very less resistance so we assume it to be a short.

Short circuted diode will behave like a superconductor and will melt.

If the diode is internally short ten ideally it should sow Zero resistance in both forward and reverse bias .As no diode can be ideal so it is showing very less resistance.

In forward bias condition the diode starts conducting. That means there is flow of current (charge carriers) and the diode conducts to maximum and itoffers very low resistance. (we all know that conduction is inversely proportional to resistance).

Because A good silicon diode has small resistance in forward bias and infinite resistance in reverse bias. So, only internally shorted diode will give the Resistance value in both direction.

Ya mohana is correct.

The answer is diode is internally short because in forward bias diode behave as short ckt, so we know that in short circuit resistance is low.
