Diode is a two terminal device i.e. Anode (First terminal) and Cathode (Second terminal). In electronics, for the conduction to begin in the circuit/device, there should be some supply of current/voltage to be given. Henceforth, Anode is Positive Charge and Cathode is Negative Charge.

Anode means +ve and cathode means -ve.
The current will flow from positive to the negative.
If the positive is attached to cathode the reverse current or leakage current will flow.

Anode and Cathodes are electrodes (simple conductor which allows a flow of charge carries).
Positive and Negatives are charges.
So in a forward biase, positive charge of supply (battery) connected to the anode of device and negative charge of supply connected to the cathode of the device.

The anode is connected to positive supply because it enhances the combination of holes and electrons to emit light photons.

In diodes, anode means positive feedback forward bias. So connect to the positive supply.

If we name diode terminals as Va & Vb (anode & cathode volt's).
To make FWD bias condition must be Va > Vb. So obviously +ve supply voltage should give to Va terminal.

Can you explain in a clear way?

You simply need anode voltage more than cathode voltage to make a diode forward bias may be positive voltage or negative. There is no concept of connecting anode to positive and all.

The applied voltage drives the conduction process. And when cathode or anode are connected which are also polarity terminals, the diode will not conduct because cathode and anode result in current units.
