FET is a VCCS or a Voltage-Controlled Current Source which means the controlled variable at output is current and the controlling variable at the input is voltage.

Answer A is correct because in FET the controlling variable is voltage and controlled variable is current that's why it is known as voltage controlled current device(i.e the input voltage will control the output current),where as in BJT the input current will control the output current that's it is known as current controlled current device.
