red =2
red =2
0range =10^3
gold =10%
so value=22,000 ± 10%

What is the formula?

Latha said:   1 decade ago
No its not 10% gold is 5%. why is it called as nominal value? Does it mean v shud not consider the tolerance??

What is the formula of it?

Why to use the colour code only for resistance? please anybody explain.

Meera said:   1 decade ago
By using colour codes, we can calculate the resistance value without multimeter and colour code is the best choice to calculate resistance.
