The current shud not exceed 24A, if a fuse 24A fuse s used it ll fuse at 24A nd it ll not let the current exceed 24A right? So isn t de answer right?

If we use the fuse having rating 20A the fuse blown at 20A CURRENT but the question is that the fuse does not exceed the 24A so best option is 24A.

Every conductor in electrical system has overloading capacity if we use 24A fuse it is going to melt beyond 24A so the correct option is 20A.

Practically speaking the fuse rate must always be less than the rated load rate. Then only it could safe it against over current.

Yes, answer is 24A. If current flow exceeds 24A then fuse works and breaks up the circuit, till then circuit is safe.
