Is load power factor required in the question?

Basically, the ideal transformer ratio is 1:1. So the primary power is 25watts and also secondary power 25 watts.
1 : 1 = 25 : 25.
1 : 1 = 25 : 25.

In an ideal transformer vpip = voio means input voltage x input current =output voltage x output current. But if the secondary is shorted the output voltage become zero, however output current is not zero.
Then the formula above fails. exp vp=230V, ip=5A and vo=0v the primary vpip=230 x 5 and secondary voio=0x io=0VA so vpip is not equal to voio. Then the above formula fails, is it not ?

An ideal transformer is one which has no losses. Its winding has no ohmic resistance, there is no magnetic leakage.
That means input power = output power.
That means input power = output power.

Turns ratio is given to just confuse the student. The fact is that for an ideal transformer;
Input power = output power.
Input power = output power.

Transformer is a device which transform power or energy from one circuit to another circuit.
By increasing or decreasing voltage and current portion ally, so input power and output power remains same, accept some losses.

In ideal transformer input power =output power .so 25W is the answer.
