Basically transformer is a constant flux machine and also constant power machine. that's why when ever we gave to 25w power to its primary. It obviously delivers 25w to load if ideal. If not there is some fractional difference between in input and output. The Efficiency of the transformer is mostly 98%.

input power=Vin*Iin
ouput power=Vout*Iout

Vin/Vout=N1/N2
Iin/Iout=N2/N1
so,input power/output power = N1/N2*N2/N1=1

hence input power = output power, for ideal transformer

For an ideal tx. Power is always constant.

I agree with mr. Shriniwas the transformer ratio does not have any effect on power transformer and is same for both primary and secondary only current and voltage varies as per turns ratio.

If there isn't any losses as is the case of ideal transformer. Then as per the answer I want to know, where the remaining power 22.5W is dissipated.

Ya its true the transformer only transfers the power, considering losses also efficiency should above 95%.

Since power is constant in secondary and primary. So it must be 25w.

For an ldeal transformer input=ouput since there is no losses in a transformer because there is no moving parts.

In ideal transformer, efficiency always 100%.

Input power == output power.

So ans is 25.

See coments from Gogul on this he has discribed abcd.

Please note power in transformer always costant, only volatage & curent chg wrt turn ratio, multiple of both in primary as well in seconday remains same.
