In parallel circuits the current is dividing, here total current is 120, it contains 3 branches, 1st branch current is 40mA, 2nd branch current is 10mA, then the remaining 3rd branch current is 70mA.

In parallel circuits the current is dividing,

I = i1+i2+i3.

So 120 = 40+10+i3.

So i3 = 120-50.

i3 = 70ma.

Total Current=sum of the branch current,
120=40+10+I,
I=120-(40+10)=70 ma
