Resistor values can be known by colour band.
0 black
1 blue
2 red
3 orange
4 yellow
5 green
6 blue
7 violet
8 grey
9 white

Resistor value is given by 1st 3 bands.
Start from left most band,3rd value is a power of 10..
Ans: red(2),orange(3),orange(10^3).. so value becoms 23*10^3

"BBROY went to Great Britain to get Very Good Wife with Gold and Silver" ya its crct memorize it its also find out by ulta alta method like

red col-our code is 2 and orange colour code is 3 so (5\23) u will get ans 0.217 u get ans 2.2 like that k guys

We can get Resistance value from the color code (red, orange, orange, silver) is 23 (10^3) = 23000.

Here we are not consider the last color (tolerance-silver) , Because here not asking minimum or maximum current.

So current I = V/R = 50/23000 = 0.00217 = 2.2mA.

B-Black-0
B-Brown-1
R-Red- 2
O-Orange-3
Y-Yellow-4
G-green-5
B-Blue- 6
V-Violet-7
G-Green-8
W-White-9
Silver--- 10%
Gold --- 20%
RESISTOR color code same as-above "Big Boys Race our Young girls But Violet Generally wins"

Red = 2.
Orange = 3.
Multiplier = 10^3(Orange).

Silver= 10 (Don't Consider Silver because they not given at Maximum Or Minimum Resistance).
Then, 23*10^3.

23000Ohms.
Current = V/R.
= 50/23000
= 0.002173
= 2.17mA Nearly 2.2mA.

Here we can easyly memorize the colour code by using following sentence:.

B B ROY GREAT BRITAN VERY GOOD WIFE (silver, gold colours are no need to memorize, because first three colours enough to calculate value of resister).

First Band Red = 2.

Second Band Orange = 3.

(Repeat) Multiplier Band Orange = 10*^3 or 1000.

Silver = +/-10%.

Total = 23000*(+/-10%).

I = V/R.

I = 50/23000A.
I = 0.00217A.
I = 2.17mA - Answer.

Or 2.2mA.

First Band, Red = 2.

Second Band, Orange = 3.

Multiplier Band, Orange = 10^3.

Tolerance Band, Silver = +or-10%.

Equation: 23*10^3 +or-10%.

I = V/R.

= 50/23*10^3.
= 50*10^-3/23.

=2.17*10^-3 A.
=2.2 mA.

U can understand it fom dis tagline
BB ROY GREAT BRITAIN VERY GOOG WIFe
So WE HAVE
B=BLACK 0
B=BROWN 1
R=RED 2
O=ORANGE 3
Y=YELLOW 4
G=GREEN 5
B=BLUE 6
V=VOPLET 7
G=GRAY 8
W=WHITE 9
SILVER= +/-10%
GOLD +/-5%

I think in this question we are assuming the minimum value of resistance, Hence the value of resistance is 23 * 10^3 - 10% = 22.7 * 10^3,
Now, V/R = I,
=> 50/22.7 * 10^3 = 2.20 mA.
