Resistor values can be known by colour band.
0 black
1 blue
2 red
3 orange
4 yellow
5 green
6 blue
7 violet
8 grey
9 white

Resistor value is given by 1st 3 bands.
Start from left most band,3rd value is a power of 10..
Ans: red(2),orange(3),orange(10^3).. so value becoms 23*10^3

In resistor the first color mean the value first digit that
Red - 2
Orange also mean the value,
Orange - 3
but that next on Orange mean the power of 10
Orange - 10^3
that color code silver mean that with stand power of resistor +/- 10%.
u can take another one Example like
"brown Red Yellow silver" mean the resistor value is
Brown - 1
Red - 2
Yellow - 10^4
silver - +/- 10%
the Resistor value = 120 kilo ohms.

344/10=34.4,
According to ohm's law I=V/R=50/34.4=2.2

Memorizing line is

Capital letters represent color codes in sequence!

Second color=digit
Third color= power of ten
Fourth colour =tolerance
Tolerance values are :

For Example He given blue, red,green ,gold
then solution to resistor becomes

Red-- 2
green-8
gold 20%

First write two colour codes side to side
then for third color code it will be power of 10
then for 20%(if gold) multiply it with 20/100

62*(10^8)*(20/100)

in this example R=1240000000



For Above problem

23*(10^3)*(10/100)
R =2300
