Pulsewidth is total duration of positive cycle
dutycycle=pw/total period= 10us/100us = .1
dutycycle=pw/total period= 10us/100us = .1

Mr. Sri how can you say that the pulsewidth is total duration of positive cycle because for total duration we calculate or add the time of -ve & +ve pulse and both this pulse is count in one cycle of wave (0-2#) , threfore m nt agree with your answer.

The formula for calculating the duty cycle is Ton/ (Ton+Toff).
From the Question it is clear that pulse width (Ton) is given as 10 us and the total period is (Ton+Toff).
So, the Duty cycle is = Ton/ (Ton+/Toff) = (10 us/100 us) *100= 10.
From the Question it is clear that pulse width (Ton) is given as 10 us and the total period is (Ton+Toff).
So, the Duty cycle is = Ton/ (Ton+/Toff) = (10 us/100 us) *100= 10.

Duty cycle is a time reuired for one+&-ve half cycle.

Here the whole period that mean Ton and Toff is 100ms and the pulse width Ton is 10ms. The formula is written in other comments.

Duty Cycle = Ton/(Ton+Toff).
We have Ton=10us.
Toff=10+10=20us.
So duty Cycle = 10/(20) = 0.5*100 = 50%.
We have Ton=10us.
Toff=10+10=20us.
So duty Cycle = 10/(20) = 0.5*100 = 50%.

Duty Cycle = Ton/(Ton + Toff) = Pulse width/Period = 10/100 = 0.1 Equivalent to 10%.

Duty cycle = [Ton/(Ton+Toff)]*100.
= (Pulse width/Total time period)*100.
Given: Ton = 10us.
T = 100us.
Duty cycle = (10/100)*100.
= 10%.
So answer is false.
