What is the formula for 1st harmonic, 2nd harmonic? Please tell me.

If they ask 1st harmonic means you have to multiply f * 2 since harmonic starts from 2, 3, 4. If they mention odd or even then you have to take which is odd and even and multiply it.

Thanks @Sushma.

Why we use the Kilo HZ?

Mohamed said:   6 years ago
Because the time is in a microsecond.

TIME=60us.

f=1/t.
=16.66.

3 harmonics=3*16.66.
=49.98~=50KHZ'.

But the micro second is 10^-6.

Abhisek said:   5 years ago
Yes @Ruio.

6*(10^-6) , change 60us in hz.
f = 1/t=1/(60*10^-6) = (10^5)/6.
Then you will get 16666.66 Hz = 16.66 KHZ.
Now, For 1st odd harmonic = (3 * 16.66)KHZ = 50KHZ.
