N = 2F/P rps.

N = (2x800)/4.

N = 400 rps.

N=?
Given data,
P=4.
f= 800Hz.

We know,
N= 120 f/P RPM.

=> N= 120*800/4.
=> N= 24000rpm.
=> N= 24000/60 rps.

Therefore N= 400rps.

Please give clear formula. And what is rps?

All formula shown by our friends are clear as crystal. RPS means Revolutions Per Second.

F = (PN)%120, where f in Hz, N in rpm.

Given f = 800Hz, P = 4.

By applying formula:

800Hz = (4*N)% 120.

=> N = 24000 rpm.

=> N = 24000% 60 = 400 rps.

N = 2*(f/p); speed in rps.

N = 2*(800/4)†\'2*200 = 400.

Given data:

F = 800 Hz p = 4 poles = 4/2 = 2 pair of poles.

Then Ns = 120*800/4 = 24000 rpm means that you can also use pair of pole using the following formula Ns = 60*800/2 = 24000 rpm you can convert rpm in rps like this 24000/60 = 400.

Thank you.

1 RPS = 60 RPM.

And 1 RPM = 1/60 RPS or 0.1666 RPS.

The standard unit is RPM, but we have to convert it into RPS for this question.

N = 120f/p.

= 120*800/4 = 96000/4.

= 24000 rpm.

Then in RPS:

= 24000/60 = 400rps.
