How you have taken 4800 only as approximate?

Because nearest for 4990 is 5000. Can you please explain?

1st way:

(4990) or 5000 approximately -2000 ~ 4800.

= 42150-2000~40000.

So 4800/40000*100 = 12 actual just less near 12 so answer = 11.84.

2nd way:

4.990/4.215*10 ~ 5/4.2*10 = 1/20/1/24 (using fraction) = 1.2*10 = 12%. So answer just less = 11.84.
