The method was correct because an average is calculated by summing the column values, and then dividing the sum by the number of values in the column.

The average can be referred to as the Mean Value.

Venkatesh, said absolutely correct. Take the nearest value which is nothing but 36.4 which is the medium value. I hope you guys understand.
