Study the following table and answer the questions based on it.

What is the average amount of interest per year which the company had to pay during this period?

Average amount of interest paid by the Company during the given period

    = Rs. [ 23.4 + 32.5 + 41.6 + 36.4 + 49.4 ] lakhs

    = Rs. [ 183.3 ] lakhs

    = Rs. 36.66 lakhs.

Never decide the answer whether in the denominator have multiples of 5. Please cancel with five after that decide units place.

In the numerator, decimal ending with 3 right, then it is multiple of 5 with 6, so the answer must end with 6, that is the answer.

Here, we need to add the Interest and Divide by the no.of years 183.33*5 = 36.63.

183.3÷5=36.63,when we divide the numerator by 5, double the numerator and move the decimal to left side.

As Sandip said 183.3 * 20. If we are calculating all the interest on loans we are not getting that value.
