I don't no to fast division. How calculate fast. Its take more time in this problem.

Sagar said: (Aug 24, 2011)
Multuply both numerator and denominator with 2. That will be easier.

How to know which column to find to get the answer?

Kumar said: (Jan 20, 2012)
Yes I agree with you Sagar.

Amit said: (Jan 24, 2012)
Is there is any short cut to solve this problem?

Mohan said: (Feb 11, 2012)
Come on guys..... It's just a problem of finding average...... What's the need for more short cut?...... Any way sagar's answer is more than enough.... Multiplying nr and dr makes it more easy to calculate with eyes.

Gajendra Chandelkar said: (Mar 30, 2012)
Any other short cut method?

Is there any other method to solve this problem as it consume time ?

Venkatesh said: (May 17, 2012)
Take the nearest value and then find average then you will get answer easily.

Appu said: (Oct 10, 2012)
What nearest value?

Stalin said: (Mar 3, 2013)
I don't think, we have a shortcut method to solve this problem,

Is there anyone knows the short cut method to solve this problem, because why do need to do shortcut is for Banking exams we will be having less time, if we spend this time for one question, I don't think we can solve all the problems.

Sourav said: (May 25, 2013)
It takes so many time. Is there any other shortcut method?

Balluraj said: (Jun 12, 2013)
You have to practice regular more and more problems to increase your speed.

Hammed Lematia said: (Dec 19, 2013)
The method was correct because an average is calculated by summing the column values, and then dividing the sum by the number of values in the column.

The average can be referred to as the Mean Value.

Sandip said: (Feb 2, 2014)
Hi @Vinayak.... It's simple.

183.3 * 20
----------
5 * 20

= 3666
------
100

= 36.66.

Stalin said: (Apr 6, 2014)
Venkatesh, said absolutely correct. Take the nearest value which is nothing but 36.4 which is the medium value. I hope you guys understand.

Rajeev said: (Apr 24, 2014)
Add the smallest and largest value and divide with 2. you will get nearest value.

Here it is,
(23.4+49.4)/2 gives 36.4 (nearest value).

Here the table is simple with just 5-7 values.

What if the case is to more than 10 values and the range is less than 15 which is usually in exams like cat and in the latest format of cat it is very tough to manage time as we all know that the time limit is just 1.7minutes.

Then how could we waste the time in adding all those 10-15 numbers.

Is there any shortcuts for adding lot many as I mentioned the range.

Aditi said: (Oct 4, 2014)
Please tell anyone.

How to know which column is to add?

Divyadev said: (Oct 26, 2014)
Just read the question and try to understand, you will know what to do.

Balaswamy said: (Nov 19, 2014)
To find the answer for this question is very easy, How?

Just add all the decimals and divide by 5 (23/5 = 4.6).

So find the answer which has last digit 6, it is none other than answer D (36.66).

Rahul said: (Sep 20, 2015)
I think its very simple there is no need for any shortcut.

Ankur Jakhwala said: (Sep 29, 2015)
Please provide short cut method.

P.Sivareddy said: (Jan 3, 2016)
It is very simple no need of shortcut.

I am not understanding this, anyone explain me.

Kartikeya Prajapati said: (Mar 14, 2016)
Why we add all amount of bonus,

Why we can't add all amount of interest on loans and divided by 5.

Simmi Bala said: (May 31, 2016)
How to get the solution of these problems by fast calculation? Please help me.

Sree said: (Jun 29, 2016)
As Sandip said 183.3 * 20. If we are calculating all the interest on loans we are not getting that value.

Usha said: (Jul 25, 2017)
How to solve this problem in an easy manner? Please tell me.

Manju Sri said: (Aug 1, 2017)
183.3÷5=36.63,when we divide the numerator by 5, double the numerator and move the decimal to left side.

Shalini S Kovalan said: (Oct 5, 2017)
Here, we need to add the Interest and Divide by the no.of years 183.33*5 = 36.63.

Hilal said: (Apr 14, 2018)
According to me, the answer is 35.66.

Angel Jain said: (Oct 2, 2018)
I agree with the answer 36.66.

Deva Prasad Nagineni said: (Jun 8, 2019)
In the numerator, decimal ending with 3 right, then it is multiple of 5 with 6, so the answer must end with 6, that is the answer.

Saida said: (Oct 31, 2019)
Never decide the answer whether in the denominator have multiples of 5. Please cancel with five after that decide units place.
