The MoU between the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) and Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) aims to develop river cruise tourism on National Waterways. The project will focus on enhancing tourism along the Chenab, Jhelum, and Ravi rivers by constructing 10 floating jetties and passenger facilities, with an investment of ₹100 crore. This initiative is expected to boost employment, and economic growth, and improve navigation infrastructure in the Jammu and Kashmir region.

The Uttarakhand Cabinet approved the implementation of the Unified Pension Scheme for state employees, which will be operational from April 1, 2025. Additionally, a new Excise Policy 2025 was introduced, banning liquor sales near religious places and enforcing stricter controls on alcohol pricing. The Madhya Pradesh government announced an initiative to provide permanent power connections to farmers for just Rs 5, aiming to reduce the financial burden on farmers and improve agricultural productivity. The initiative, announced by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, will help farmers access affordable electricity and enhance irrigation facilities. Additionally, a plan to distribute 30 lakh solar irrigation pumps will further benefit farmers, reduce energy costs, and support eco-friendly farming practices. The Uttarakhand government launched the "Mukhyamantri Ekal Mahila Swarozgar Yojana" to support single women by providing financial assistance of up to ₹2 lakh. Under the scheme, 75% of the amount will be granted, while beneficiaries will contribute just 25%. This initiative aims to empower 2,000 women in its first phase, helping them achieve financial independence and self-reliance.
