The Kosi Mechi Intra-State Link Project, approved by the Cabinet under the PMKSY-AIBP, is set to benefit the state of Bihar. The project, with central support of Rs. 3,652.56 crore, aims to divert surplus water from the Kosi River for irrigation purposes. It will cover 2,10,516 hectares across Bihar's Araria, Purnea, Kishanganj, and Katihar districts, enhancing agricultural productivity. This initiative aligns with the broader objectives of the PMKSY to improve irrigation access and water resource management in the region, significantly impacting Bihar's agricultural sector.

The Telangana Organ Transplantation Bill, 2025 was specifically passed by the state of Telangana. The bill was designed to align state regulations with the Central Act, aiming to tackle illegal organ trade and enhance transparency. Key provisions include increased penalties for organ trafficking, permitting grandparents to donate organs to grandchildren, and broadening the criteria for declaring brain death. Additionally, the bill seeks to promote medical tourism and improve organ transplant services in Telangana.

The 8th State Level Coordination Committee (SLCC) Meeting was held in Gangtok, Sikkim, organized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). West Bengal Police launched a mobile app aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in police transfers. This app, integrated with the e-HRMS software, allows police personnel from constables to sub-inspectors to submit their transfer requests digitally. The initiative was introduced to eliminate corruption, such as bribery and favouritism, that had been associated with the transfer process. The app ensures a more transparent system and provides a way to handle transfer requests and medical exemptions efficiently.

The Haryana government launched the AI-driven chatbot ‘Sarathi’ to enhance public access to government documents and policies. This initiative, introduced by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, is aimed at modernizing governance by integrating artificial intelligence into administrative processes. ‘Sarathi’ allows citizens to easily access over 17,820 government documents, improving administrative efficiency, reducing delays, and promoting transparent governance by offering a user-friendly interface and 24/7 availability of important government information.
