Kerala approved the Special Asset Management Platform for Administration Tracking and Harmonisation Portal on July 29, 2026, to strengthen digital governance and improve the management of government assets. The platform will maintain a comprehensive asset register covering land, buildings, roads, dams, bridges, vehicles, machinery, and other public infrastructure across 591 government institutions. The Cabinet also approved Plan Space 2.0 with GIS-based mapping of nearly 1,900 capital projects, initiated legislative reforms to simplify citizen services, and sanctioned additional land for the BrahMos Aerospace project, reflecting the state's commitment to efficient governance and infrastructure development.

Assam exported its first international consignment of 5,627 litres of Purabi Ice Cream to Bhutan on July 28, 2026. The consignment was flagged off by Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. The ice cream was manufactured by West Assam Milk Producers' Cooperative Union Limited (WAMUL) and exported through North East Dairy and Foods Limited (NEDFL). APEDA supported the initiative by facilitating export documentation, regulatory compliance, and market access. The shipment is aimed at expanding the presence of Made-in-Assam dairy products in international markets, particularly in Bhutan's major cities such as Thimphu, Paro, Phuentsholing, and Wangdue.

Himachal Pradesh launched the Mukhyamantri Machhuara Samman Nidhi Yojana on July 29, 2026, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The scheme provides annual financial assistance of ₹3,500 to eligible fishermen to support their household needs during the closed fishing season. Around 3,700 fisherman families dependent on major reservoirs such as Gobind Sagar, Pong Dam, Kol Dam, Chamera, and Ranjit Sagar are expected to benefit. The state has allocated an annual budget of approximately ₹1.20 crore for the scheme, which also promotes sustainable fisheries by supporting fishermen during the breeding season when fishing is prohibited.

Odisha signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with HCL Technologies and Sarvam AI on July 24, 2026, for a proposed investment exceeding ₹15,000 crore to strengthen the state's IT and Artificial Intelligence ecosystem. The project includes establishing a tech hub in Khurda district, a ₹14,257 crore AI Data Centre, and a Global Delivery Centre with an investment of ₹730 crore by HCL Technologies. The initiative also includes the Odisha Sovereign AI Park to support high-performance computing infrastructure and is expected to generate over 6,000 direct jobs. It aims to provide AI services in Odia and other Indian languages using indigenous AI technology.

Telangana authorised the issuance of the Telangana Family Register Certificate through the MeeSeva platform on July 28, 2026, to ensure uniform verification of family records across the state. Issued by the Revenue Department, the electronic Family Register captures details such as Aadhaar number, date of birth, gender, and relationship to the head of the family, with the Family Register Identification Number matching the family's Ration Card Number. Citizens can obtain the certificate through MeeSeva centres or mobile applications by paying a user fee of ₹62. The certificate is also recognised by the Election Commission of India as one of the accepted documents for the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
