New Delhi hosted the first Steering Committee meeting for the 57th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on August 21, 2026. The meeting reviewed preparations for the festival, which is scheduled to take place in Goa from November 20 to 28, 2026. Ashutosh Gowariker has been appointed Festival Director, while Dr L. Murugan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, is the Chairman of the Steering Committee.
