Solar-electric passenger boats were launched on the River Ganga in Varanasi by the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. The initiative introduces zero-emission electric catamarans to replace diesel-powered boats across 84 historic ghats, promoting clean and sustainable river transport. Each boat can carry 50 passengers, travels at a speed of 10 knots, and uses fast-charging solar docks. The project is part of the Jal Marg Vikas Project on National Waterway-1 (Haldia to Prayagraj) and aims to reduce over 1,200 tonnes of carbon emissions while preventing oil pollution in the sacred Ganga River.

The Parivartan Scheme was approved by the Delhi Government to promote cleaner transportation and reduce vehicular pollution in the National Capital Region (NCR). The scheme encourages owners of old BS-IV and older commercial vehicles to replace them with BS-VI-compliant or electric vehicles through incentives such as tax exemptions, registration fee waivers, interest subsidies, and manufacturer discounts. It covers goods vehicles and buses and is expected to benefit around 2.7 lakh operators in Delhi-NCR. The initiative also supports the objectives of the Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy 2026 and aims to accelerate the transition toward sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility.

The White Rabbit Technology-based Indian Standard Time (IST) Distribution Demonstration Network was inaugurated in Bengaluru at the Regional Reference Standards Laboratory (RRSL) in Jakkur. The initiative, launched under the vision of "One Nation, One Time," aims to establish a uniform and highly precise time synchronisation system across India. Implemented through the collaboration of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), ISRO, BSNL, and SEBI, the network uses White Rabbit Technology to achieve sub-nanosecond accuracy. It is expected to strengthen digital infrastructure, financial systems, telecommunications, power grids, and national security while reducing dependence on foreign GPS-based timing sources.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Advanced Mother and Child Centre and the Advanced Neurosciences Centre at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. During the event, he also laid the foundation stone for a 150-bed Critical Care Block under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). These projects are aimed at improving access to advanced healthcare services, strengthening emergency and critical care infrastructure, supporting medical education and research, and providing better maternal, child, and neurological healthcare for people in Chandigarh and the surrounding regions.
