The CII IndiaEdge 2025 Industry Forum on Reforms & Sustainable Growth took place in New Delhi, bringing together key industry leaders, policymakers and experts to discuss a wide range of reforms essential for the country’s economic progress. The discussions focused on labour reforms, sustainable growth initiatives, and measures to boost competitiveness across vital sectors. Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Bhupender Yadav emphasised the significance of new labour codes, social security expansion and gig-worker welfare. Additionally, the forum highlighted the importance of tourism, skill development and modernisation as drivers of employment and long-term economic resilience.

The Regional AI Impact Conference 2025 took place in Shillong, Meghalaya, as part of a nationwide series of events leading up to the India–AI Impact Summit 2026. The conference focused on expanding AI access across India through the IndiaAI Mission, which has invested over ₹10,300 crore to build AI infrastructure, including onboarding 38,000 GPUs and establishing more than 600 AI and data labs across the country. Shillong’s selection underscores the government’s commitment to decentralizing AI development and ensuring that regions like the Northeast benefit from enhanced computing resources, skill-development initiatives, and emerging AI-driven opportunities.

The Ananth Centre of Excellence for Navigation (ACEN), inaugurated by the ISRO Chief, is located in Thiruvananthapuram. This centre marks India’s first private-sector navigation innovation hub, established to boost indigenous capabilities in navigation technologies. By developing advanced navigation sensors, AI-based fusion systems, and enhancing the use of the NavIC system, ACEN significantly reduces reliance on foreign technologies. It also focuses on conducting maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities within India, strengthening national security and operational readiness. The centre aligns with India’s broader goals of technological independence, innovation, and the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission, supporting future advancements in defence, space, and civilian navigation applications.

The 60th DGP–IGP Conference 2025 was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh. The event brought together India’s top police leaders, intelligence agencies, and security experts under the broader theme of “Viksit Bharat, Surakshit Bharat.” Held at the IIM campus in Naya Raipur, the conference focused on key issues such as internal security reforms, forensic and technology-driven policing, women’s safety initiatives, and the long-term Vision 2047 roadmap for modernizing Indian policing. The venue underscored Chhattisgarh’s growing significance in national-level security discussions and developmental strategies.

The Vision for Sujalam Bharat Summit 2025 will be hosted in New Delhi, reflecting the central government’s commitment to unifying national efforts on water security and sustainability. The summit aims to accelerate reforms across crucial thematic areas such as river rejuvenation, greywater management, technology-enabled water governance, aquifer recharge, and climate-resilient drinking water systems. It brings together policymakers, implementers, central ministries, state departments, and community institutions to build a cohesive strategy under a whole-of-government approach. By focusing on evidence-based policymaking, cooperative federalism, and community participation, the event seeks to advance India’s journey toward long-term water security and a truly Sujalam Bharat.
