Maharashtra is the state where the National Arogya Fair 2026 is being organized in Shegaon from February 25–28. The event is hosted by the Ministry of Ayush and highlights major traditional systems of medicine including Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homoeopathy at a single venue. It also features free health check-ups, medical consultations, live demonstrations, exhibitions, and special sessions for farmers focusing on agroforestry and the cultivation of medicinal plants, making it a significant public health and awareness initiative.

Palamu Tiger Reserve is located in Ranchi, where the ‘Vanjeevi Didi’ initiative was launched to promote forest and wildlife conservation. The programme aims to train educated women from 17 villages as ambassadors for environmental awareness and community engagement. Each selected participant receives ₹3,000 per month and works to spread awareness about conservation while also encouraging school enrollments. The initiative strengthens the connection between local communities and forest authorities, empowering women to actively contribute to sustainable environmental protection and grassroots development efforts.

The ₹30.01 crore Electronic Warfare project awarded by the Defence Research and Development Organisation to Unistring Tech Solutions will be executed in Hyderabad. The project focuses on developing an advanced EW system with RF signal sensing and processing capabilities tailored to the operational needs of the Indian Armed Forces. Carried out in technical coordination with DRDO laboratories, the initiative supports the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision by strengthening indigenous defence manufacturing and enhancing the country’s electronic warfare preparedness and strategic capabilities.

The CBDC-based Public Distribution System (PDS) was launched in Gandhinagar by Union Home Minister Amit Shah as part of a major reform in India’s food security framework. The initiative integrates Central Bank Digital Currency with ration distribution to ensure transparent, cashless, and leakage-free delivery of food grains. It aligns with the broader vision of Digital India and the governance principle of ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’ promoted by Narendra Modi. The system enhances accountability, eliminates middlemen, and strengthens welfare delivery for millions of beneficiaries across the country.
