Flying Officer Bhawana Kanth flew in a MiG-21 Bison aircraft from Ambala Air Force Station on 16th March 2018. The first woman pilot of Indian Air Force to fly solo is Flying Officer Avani Chaturvedi. Bhawana Kanth is 25 years old. She is one of the three in the first batch of women pilots who were inducted into the Indian Air Force fighter squadron on 18th June 2016.
