Kaizad Bharucha is the Deputy Managing Director of HDFC Bank who is scheduled to leave the bank on December 31, 2026, after serving the institution for more than three decades. He joined HDFC Bank in October 1995 and became a full-time director in June 2014 before being promoted to Deputy Managing Director in April 2023. Bharucha played a significant role in developing the bank’s credit framework, including borrower assessment, credit risk evaluation, and lending decisions. His departure is subject to approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Anup Bagchi was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a three-year term.
