The State Government of Haryana appointed Keshni Anand Arora as the state's new chief secretary. She replaces Mr. DS Dhesi, who has retired on June 30, 2019. She will be the 33rd cabinet secretary of Haryana since 1966. Her sister Meenakshi Anand Chaudhary became the State's first woman chief secretary in 2006 and her other sister Urvashi Gulati occupied the same post in 2009. She was previously served as the additional chief secretary in the Haryana government, and financial commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments.
