The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), in collaboration with the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), launched the fourth batch of the Directors' Certification in Corporate Governance for Defence Officers. The program began on 9th March 2026 at the IICA campus in Manesar, Gurugram. It is a two-week certification course designed for senior serving and recently retired officers from the Indian Armed Forces. The initiative aims to prepare them for effective roles as board members in public and private sector companies. The curriculum focuses on corporate governance principles, regulatory frameworks, and the responsibilities of independent directors while utilising the officers’ expertise in leadership, strategy, cybersecurity, and project management.
