INS Kiltan was commissioned into the Indian Navy at the Eastern Naval Command (Naval Dockyard) in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is India's first major warship to have a superstructure of carbon fiber composite material resulting in improved stealth features, lower top weight.
