Halley's Comet is also referred to as the "Orionid meteor shower." The Orionid meteor shower occurs every year in late October, when Earth passes through a stream of debris left behind by Halley's Comet. The meteors in the Orionid meteor shower appear to radiate from the constellation Orion, hence the name.
