Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and IIT Kharagpur have been selected by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) to establish a shared science and technology infrastructure facility named Sophisticated Analytical and Technical Help Institute (SATHI). DST will provide Rs 125 Crore over a period of 3 years, starting from 2019-20, to set up SATHI. The centre will provide professionally managed services to meet the demands of industry, start-ups and academia which will be accessible to them and to manufacturing units and research & development labs.
