For the first time, Researchers at Ohio State University have created high-resolution maps of points around the globe where groundwater meets the oceans. It gives important data points to communities and conservationists to help protect drinking water and the seas. The study was published in the Journal "Geophysical Research Letters" on June 3, 2019. The team of Ohio State University worked with researchers at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the University of Saskatchewan in the research.
