India and Mali jointly launched the first India–Mali Forum for the Promotion of Exports in Bamako to strengthen bilateral trade, investment, and commercial cooperation. The two-day forum marked the institutionalisation of trade relations between the two countries and brought together government officials and business leaders to explore opportunities in manufacturing, infrastructure, mining, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and agriculture. Bilateral trade reached US$326.61 million in FY 2025–26, registering a 55% year-on-year growth. The initiative also supports future investments, trade facilitation, and stronger economic ties while promoting long-term strategic partnerships between India and Mali.
