A total of seven countries — Cook Islands, Madagascar, Mexico, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Uganda — collectively received $5.8 million from the Kunming Biodiversity Fund. Backed by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the initiative aligns with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
