Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 will be observed from October 26 to November 1 under the leadership of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). The theme for this year is “Probity for Prosperity,” highlighting the importance of integrity, transparency and accountability in public life. The observance aims to raise awareness about corruption prevention and promote ethical conduct in government institutions. During the week, government departments, public sector undertakings, public sector banks and other organisations are encouraged to take the Integrity Pledge and organise awareness campaigns, workshops, quizzes and community activities. The CVC plays a significant role in strengthening vigilance and preventing corruption in central government bodies.
