Children's Day is celebrated on 14 November every year as a tribute to India's First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. Nehru considered children as real strength of a nation and foundation of society. After the death of Jawaharlal Nehru, it was said to have been marked on his birth anniversary.
