December 9, observed as International Anti Corruption Day every year, aims to educate the people on issues of corruption which can undermine social and economic development in all societies across the globe. Corruption is considered as a complex social, political and economic phenomenon which affects all countries. No region, community, or country is immune to corruption.This year's theme for International Anti-Corruption Day 2019 is - "United Against Corruption". It emphasizes the fact that just gaining information about corruption is not enough but we should take some action and raise awareness against corruption among people.
