World Youth Skills Day 2026 will be observed on July 15, 2026, to highlight the importance of equipping young people with vocational, technical, digital, and life skills needed for the future workforce. The day promotes continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration among governments, industries, and educational institutions. It also emphasises preparing youth for AI-driven workplaces, green economies, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014, the observance aims to improve employability, reduce unemployment, support sustainable development, and encourage inclusive economic growth through quality skill development.

NAMASTE Day is observed annually on July 14 to recognise the invaluable contribution of sanitation workers, including sewer workers, septic tank workers, waste pickers, and former manual scavengers. The observance also marks the anniversary of the National Action for Mechanised Sanitation Ecosystem (NAMASTE) Scheme, launched during the 2023–24 financial year. The initiative promotes mechanised sanitation, occupational safety, social inclusion, and improved livelihoods for sanitation workers. Established by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in 1989, the observance was inspired by the "Five Billion Day" milestone on July 11, 1987, when the world's population was estimated to have reached five billion. The day encourages governments, organisations, and individuals to promote informed decision-making, improve quality of life, ensure equitable access to resources, and support policies that contribute to balanced population growth and long-term sustainability.

World Zoonoses Day is observed every year on July 6 to raise global awareness about zoonotic diseases, which are infections that transmit between animals and humans. This specific date holds historical significance because it commemorates the successful administration of the first rabies vaccine by French microbiologist Louis Pasteur on July 6, 1885. Pasteur's groundbreaking vaccination saved the life of a young boy bitten by a rabid dog and marked a monumental milestone in medical science, laying the foundation for modern vaccine development against infectious diseases. The day emphasises the importance of prevention, early detection, and coordinated action through the One Health approach, which recognises the interconnected health of humans, animals, and the environment.

The International Day of Cooperatives 2026 will be observed on July 04, 2026, which falls on the first Saturday of July. The annual observance recognizes the significant contributions of cooperatives to economic and social development across the world. Governments, cooperative organizations, businesses, and communities participate in various events to raise awareness about the cooperative movement. The theme for 2026 is "Cooperatives for a Peaceful World!", highlighting the role of cooperatives in promoting social justice, democratic participation, inclusion, shared ownership, solidarity, and resilient communities for sustainable peace and development.
