The International Day of Cooperatives 2026 will be observed on July 04, 2026, which falls on the first Saturday of July. The annual observance recognizes the significant contributions of cooperatives to economic and social development across the world. Governments, cooperative organizations, businesses, and communities participate in various events to raise awareness about the cooperative movement. The theme for 2026 is "Cooperatives for a Peaceful World!", highlighting the role of cooperatives in promoting social justice, democratic participation, inclusion, shared ownership, solidarity, and resilient communities for sustainable peace and development.

CA Day, also known as Chartered Accountants Day, is celebrated every year on July 01 to commemorate the establishment of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in 1949 under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. In 2026, ICAI celebrates its 77th Foundation Day, recognising the invaluable contributions of Chartered Accountants to India's financial governance, transparency, and economic development. The occasion is marked by seminars, conferences, award ceremonies, and professional development programmes across the country. It also highlights ICAI's role in regulating the accounting profession, setting auditing standards, and promoting ethical financial practices.

GST Day is observed every year on July 01 to mark the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in 2017. Introduced under the vision of "One Nation, One Tax," GST replaced multiple central and state indirect taxes with a unified tax system, simplifying taxation and creating a common national market. Over the years, GST has strengthened cooperative federalism, improved tax compliance through digital governance, and enhanced transparency. Recent GST 2.0 reforms have further simplified tax rates, eased compliance for businesses, especially MSMEs, and promoted economic growth through technology-driven tax administration and improved ease of doing business.

International Asteroid Day is observed annually on June 30 to raise global awareness about asteroid impact hazards and the importance of planetary defence. The date commemorates the Tunguska Event of June 30, 1908, the largest recorded asteroid impact event in modern history, which devastated nearly 2,000 square kilometres of forest in Siberia. The United Nations General Assembly officially proclaimed the observance in 2016 to encourage international cooperation in asteroid detection, scientific research, emergency preparedness, and public education. The day also highlights the need to monitor Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) and strengthen global efforts to protect Earth from potential asteroid threats.

Statistics Day is observed every year on June 29 to honour the birth anniversary of Prof. Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis, who is regarded as the father of modern statistics in India. The Government of India instituted this observance in 2007 to promote awareness about the importance of statistics, encourage evidence-based policymaking, inspire students and researchers to pursue careers in statistics and data science, and recognise the contribution of official statistics to governance and national development. The celebration is coordinated by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) and the National Statistical Office (NSO).
