The Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme 2023-24 Series II opened for subscription on September 11, 2023, and will be available for subscription till September 15, 2023. The issue price for the bonds is Rs. 5,923 per gram. The SGB is a government-backed investment option that allows you to invest in gold without having to physically hold it. The bonds are denominated in grams of gold and are issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

India's first UPI-ATM was introduced by Hitachi Payment Services in collaboration with NPCI for QR-based cashless withdrawals. This innovation allows customers of certain banks to enjoy QR-based cashless withdrawals.

REC Limited, the Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, has signed a Foreign Currency Term Loan Agreement for USD 100 Million, with the Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank).
