The International Solar Alliance (ISA) signed a Framework for Action with IIT Delhi to strengthen collaboration in renewable energy, particularly in human resource development, academic programmes, joint research, and knowledge exchange. This agreement builds upon five years of successful partnership, including the ISA-supported M.Tech programme in Renewable Energy Technologies & Management, which has trained over 100 mid-career professionals from regions such as Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Small Island Developing States. The expanded framework introduces new training models, trainer development initiatives, and broader capacity-building measures to accelerate solar adoption and promote clean energy transitions across ISA’s member countries.

Bhubaneswar hosted the two-day National Conference on Unified District Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+), organised by the Department of School Education & Literacy under the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Government of Odisha. The conference focused on enhancing the reliability, real-time accuracy, and strategic use of UDISE+, which serves as India’s flagship education data platform. Discussions centred on strengthening data integrity, resolving implementation challenges faced by states and union territories, and expanding the system into an AI-compliant decision support framework to enable evidence-based policymaking and effective implementation of Samagra Shiksha and NEP 2020 initiatives.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade achieved the top rank in the Times Business-School Ranking 2026, highlighting its strong reputation in global trade and international business education. Established in 1963, the institute has played a significant role in developing skilled professionals for India’s trade and commerce sectors. With multiple campuses across India and plans to expand internationally through its first overseas campus in Dubai, the institute continues to strengthen its global presence. Its focus on trade policy, international business, and applied research has contributed to its recognition as a leading business school in the country.

IIM Ahmedabad entered into a memorandum of understanding with its alumna, Chandrika Krishnamurthy Tandon and Ranjan Tandon to set up the Krishnamurthy Tandon School of AI, backed by a substantial ₹100 crore endowment. The initiative is designed to strengthen India’s artificial intelligence ecosystem by promoting responsible and inclusive AI development. It focuses on addressing nation-scale challenges, encouraging innovation at the intersection of technology and societal impact, and creating employment opportunities. This move further reinforces IIM Ahmedabad’s leadership role in management education and emerging technology-driven research in India.

IIT Madras, through its Research Park, partnered with Coromandel International Ltd to set up a Corporate Research Centre. The Centre will serve as a hub for collaborative research programs, technology incubation, talent development, and international partnerships. This initiative aims to accelerate innovation, drive technological advancements, and strengthen the agricultural sector. By leveraging IIT Madras’ research expertise and Coromandel’s industry experience, the partnership is expected to promote applied research, develop cutting-edge solutions for farming, and support sustainable practices in agriculture, ultimately contributing to sectoral growth and knowledge exchange.
