Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group announced a ₹600 crore investment to establish an integrated nickel-based superalloy manufacturing facility in Telangana on July 23, 2026. The 50-acre plant will have an annual production capacity of 5,000 tonnes, with commercial production expected to begin in January 2028. The facility will manufacture round bars, wires, forgings, castings, and tungsten carbide powders for strategic sectors such as aerospace, defence, nuclear energy, and gas turbines. Led by Dr. S.K. Jha, former CMD of MIDHANI, the project aims to strengthen India's self-reliance by reducing dependence on imported strategic materials and enhancing domestic supply-chain security.
